    What You'll Be Doing:


    ● Mowing lawns with riding and push mowers

  • Irrigation Technician

    Send water flowing in the right direction.


    When you join our crew as an Irrigation Technician, you are responsible for the layout, installation, activation, deactivation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of our customers’ irrigation systems. Without water, and without you, their commercial properties just can’t look their best. 


    We are currently hiring for full-time positions.


    Responsibilities:  


    Activate and deactivate irrigation systems 


    Assist with troubleshooting and repair of irrigation systems.  


    Be able to adjust an irrigation controller for seasonal conditions.  


    Change out Sprinkler heads and valves  


    Adjust sprinkler heads for proper coverage  


    Assist in the layout and installation of new or renovated irrigation systems  


    Perform all manner of physical tasks associated with landscape maintenance and construction.  


    Assist in the installation and maintenance of landscaping projects  


    Follow instructions of Supervisor / Manager.  


    Purchase parts and related materials from various vendors and sources.  


    Use landscape equipment safely and productively.  


    Submit accurate paperwork to supervisor or manager for billing, purchase orders, and time keeping records.  


    Assist with generation of proposals and estimates for clients.  


     


    Qualifications:  


    Two years previous experience with Commercial/Residential Irrigation systems.  


    To drive a company vehicle this person must have clean driving record  


    Be able to communicate effectively through written or verbal skills.  


    Must be able to read and understand contract specifications, clock descriptions etc.  


    Must have reliable form of transportation to job  


    Work in any kind of environmental conditions. Work a minimum of 8 hours a day 5 days a week outdoors.  


    Occasional weekend work may be required  


    Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.  


    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and independent decision making.

  • Spray Technician

    Stark Landscape Inc. is looking to hire a commercial Landscape Maintenance Spray Technician with a current Idaho Applicator License. Spray techs will be spraying herbicides, pesticides, fungicides on large commercial landscape maintenance accounts. Landscape Spray Tech is responsible for ground maintenance by keeping lawns, trees, plants healthy by eliminating unwanted insects and vegetation. This includes treating trees, shrubs, flowerbeds and lawns using various herbicides, pesticides and fungicides on commercial properties.


    Responsibilities and Duties:


    Knowledge and ability to diagnose turf and plant issues.


    Plant identification skills 


    Prepare and mix chemicals in a proper and safe manner


    Ensure a clean and safe environment for both self, fellow employees, and clients


    Operate light to heavy vehicles, tools and equipment in the application of various herbicides


    Safely apply chemical and fertilizing applications when needed and always within compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (such as EPA, Department of Agriculture, and Department of Environmental Regulation) and safety procedures


    Desired Skill Set


    2+ years of experience in fertilizer applications.


    Be able to provide the valid Certifications for Idaho(Core Competence, Ornamental Herbicide, Ornamental Insecticide).

    Skills we're seeking:


    Excellent customer service: communication with commercial superintendents, residential homeowner’s, sales reps and supply distributors


    Experience with reading plans and blueprints


    Experience in leading crews and being responsible for project completion


    Knowledge and familiarity with common landscape construction practices


    Experience operating small heavy equipment: skid-steers, mini-excavators, trenchers, pipe-pullers, hole-augers, chainsaws and other handheld machinery


    Extensive knowledge of and experience in installing irrigation systems: point of connection, controller mounting and programming, control valves, sprinklers and drip irrigation, backflow preventer install and repair, general repair and diagnostics


    5 years commercial landscape experience preferred
